The start of school is a week away and we’re ready for our students to return! There’s something special about a community that shows up to support the school. The school is better for it, more importantly the students are better for it. So a shout out to our Father’s Club for getting ice cream for our Ice Cream Social; our Web Leaders for serving and greeting; and most importantly our families, who showed up and brought their students to a fun experience where they will grow and learn for the next 10 months.

REMINDER: We are hiring substitute teachers, nurses, clerical and para positions! Come and be a part of our amazing team at Olathe Public Schools. There will be a Substitute Job Fair on June 22 from 1:30-4:30 at the Education Center for anyone interested. Hope to see you then!

REMINDER: Now is the time to register for general education transportation for the 2023-2024 school year! Those who register by June 15 are eligible for the Early-Bird Discount of up to 25% off the annual fee.

The deadline to register for general education transportation for the 2023-2024 school year is July 1, 2023. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve, space-available basis if a bus route is available. Late registration will result in a delayed start date, increased walking distance to the bus stop or placement on a wait list.

Need help registering? Attend tonight's Registration Help Night from 5:30-7:30pm at Mill Creek Campus (300 E. Loula Street, Olathe).

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want all of our Olathe Public School Teachers to know how much we love and appreciate them! Thank you all for pouring yourselves into our kids every single day!

Our heroes each and every day are the ladies that truly run MT, our administrative assistants! We love these ladies and sent them off on a surprise luncheon and afternoon out together. Many teachers stepped in to help while they were gone!

Fun morning watching our students being greeted by other students! I loved the smiles on their faces as they entered the school! Thank you to our Sources of Strength club for the treats and kind messages you all wrote! 💜
