I know we haven't posted here in a while.

To all of our wonderful customers who continue to reach out, and are wondering what the heck is going on, we wanted to give you this update: As you may know, Pam and Alison are the owners of Dulcet. Pam started the company at the Portland Farmer's Market in 2004 with 3 sauces/dressings that she had created for a restaurant she used to own in Canada. 4 years later, in 2008, Alison joined the company as brand manager/designer, systems analyst and financial manager.

Pam and I have been on quite a journey together and weathered a lot of storms. The grocery business is not for the faint of heart. Long story made extremely short, we find ourselves at a crossroads. At this juncture, we are not sure if we will continue making Dulcet products. We are working with private companies who may want us to produce some of our products under their label (known as private label). We also have some opportunities to sell the brand to another party who would not change anything, but who may not make everything. It is also entirely possible that we just close our doors all together.

So there it is. A lot is up in the air. We are actively making product for some private business, but the future is unclear. We just wanted to let you all know what was going on. Stay tuned and thank you all so much for the incredible support and outreach we have received during this process.

Our ketchups have new clothes!

We've been giving our ketchups a lot of thought lately, asking ourselves what sets them apart from others on the market. Perhaps its that they are so much more than ketchup! Sure, they're good on burgers and fries, but how about all the recipes we have for cooking with them. Here's one of those recipes

Don't ya love when leftovers are transformed into something even better than the original dish? Yesterday's succotash made without beans, was the perfect filling for today's frittata. We just added some crumbled goat cheese to the mix and vuola!
