Schools Reopen on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Schools will be closed in Leon County on Tuesday, May 14 due to anticipated severe weather entering our area beginning at 6:00 a.m. potentially making roads impassable and compounding the impacts of the previous severe weather in our area.

School Operations for May 13, 2024

-No bus transportation will be provided.
-Hardship absences to be excused.
-School start times pushed back 30 minutes.
High School: 8:00 am
Elementary: 9:00 am
Middle: 10:00 am
-Dismissal time remains the same.
-EDEP/21st Century/ Before School Programs are open for their normal hours.
-LCS staff should report for work as normal.
-School meals will be served.
FAST/AP testing will be rescheduled.
