As the academic year of 2023 - 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to celebrate all our students, teachers and parents at RSM Irvine, Irvine Woodbury and South Orange County "Shoot for the stars" joint Award Ceremony and Math Day. From recognizing the award winners and high scorers to a great presentation by Dr. Narek Shougarian, system engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the latest project, that he is working on (“Exploring Europa, a potentially habitable world”) , from math games to face painting and dry ice project and many more , it was all about our students, teachers and parents, who put so much effort, dedication, patience and passion in achieving their dreams! Who truly SHOT FOR THE STARS! We are incredibly grateful to and proud of all of YOU! See you next year!

Happy International Children’s Day!
We are excited to announce that RSM Irvine, RSM Irvine Woodbury, and RSM South Orange County are planning a joint Award Ceremony event on Sunday, June 2nd, from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at the Lakeview Senior Center (20 Lake Rd, Irvine, CA 92604). The official award ceremony will be followed by year end MATH DAY. Come for math games, face painting, balloon twisting, rocket launching, prizes and fun. We can’t wait to celebrate our students, teachers and parents!

RSM Irvine is break from May 24th to May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on May 28.
May 12 is International Women in Math Day. On this date Maryam Mirzakhani, the brilliant mathematician was born. She was the first woman to win the prestigious Fields Medal. It is awarded to four mathematicians each year. May 12 was chosen to celebrate Women in Mathematics in Mariam’s memory. Today we celebrate all the dedicated, persistent, enthusiastic and motivated mathematicians in RSM SoCal Region! Happy International Women in Math Day!

We dare to dream! Congratulations to RSM students across Southern California on successful completion of math competition season. More than 1500 mathletes participated in the national and international math competitions like AMC 8, AMC 10/12, Math Kangaroo, MOEMS, NOETIC, Purple Comet and IMC proudly hosted by RSM Southern California Region's schools. The results for all the competitions are finalized . We are very proud of our students who took the challenge and competed! See you next competition season!
Are math, music and chess related? We have no scientific answers to this question, but we do have students who prove it right. Congratulations to RSM Irvine’s student Caleb Lin( grade 6 high honors), who won a gold medal at the International Young Gifted Musicians Competition by the American Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT) in Carnegie Hall!
Congratulations to Terence Kuang ( grade 3 high honors) , a medalist at the national k-6 chess tournament in Ohio. We are so proud of you!

From answering the emails and phone calls , making sure the students are safe , printing the materials for the teachers to organizing the schools and problem solving they do it all. From "bandaiding" the papercuts to handing a major heartbreak from a B+ on a science test they fix it all. They are the administrative professionals of RSM. This year April 24th is a National Administrative Professionals Day and we would like to celebrate and shed light on the many contributions of dedicated and caring admins of RSM SoCal Region. The volume of their work is not always visible but it certainly is invaluable! Happy Admin Day to all the amazing Administrators out there .
