"SMTA provides a solid foundation in safety management systems (SMS) knowledge and gives students the tools to go back to their programs to assess and shape initiatives to keep crews and patients safe. Patient Safety is an integral component of medical transport, and understanding how the SMS supports its structure, process, and patient outcomes is crucial. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn how they can actively improve their program’s safety culture and outcomes." ~ SMTA Participant

During today’s visit with Chief Jim Blazier, he shared that while the community is still reeling, his team is standing strong. He also reflected on how the crisis has revealed emerging leaders within their ranks.
