Alumni Connect is looking at the option of creating a Cal Grad Alumni blog. Some ideas include Alumni and Faculty Articles.
California Graduate School of Theology was founded in 1969. We Alumni fondly call our school, Cal Grad. Historically, Cal Grad is an educational institution with a diverse program enabling its alumni to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church, and the world at large.
As an educational institution, Cal Grad provided us with learning, training, and resources to acquire knowledge and gain skills to develop our ministries in the Lord. As students, we were challenged to stand out from the crowd to accomplish the Impossible to God's glory. And, as alumni, we continue to accomplish the Impossible to God’s Glory.
Cal Grad is an evangelical, multi-denominational, international, and multi-ethnic community. As alumni, we seek to help fulfill the Church's commitment to the ministry of the Word of God. Cal Grad, through professional development, spiritual formation, the dynamics of pastoral ministry, and the encouragement of Christian lay leadership, continues to provide a unique basis for the Church's outreach in the world. And, as alumni, we remain a part of Cal Grad’s influential outreach.
Cal Grad has been committed both to academic excellence and practical relevance, both to personal piety and social responsibility, both to historic orthodoxy and its expression in the scientific culture of our modern world. Cal Grad alumni continue to be benefactors of this 50 year tradition of excellence, relevance, responsibility and expression.
