We would like to thank everyone who supported us this past weekend at Tampa repticon especially supporting our tegu and iguana fund to save the ones we can. Remember the all tegu and iguana decal sales go to saving the ones we can. We also want to thank everyone who has recommended people to pm us about getting tegus and iguanas from us for out of state. We have been able to home several lately which clears up room to help more. We will be at ft meyers this weekend and will be bringing coasters decals and more so remember to check us out.

Springs kustoms digital designs printed us some amazing decals this time around in holo form! 2 of these we designed ourselves, the tokay and the red tegu. Red tegu decals will directly support our tegu and iguana efforts to save the ones we can. And who doesn't need a cute gecko threatening to take over the world?

Want to help us with iguanas and tegus but can't legally owned one or afford the upkeep? Well now you can help. These are two new decals we designed. Spring's customs was awesome and is printing them for us. These will be available at shows and possibly online. ALL proceeds will go to our fund for iguanas and tegu's. This will fund vet bills as needed as well as some other cost that come with saving the ones we can. We should have these at shows. Come show your support for one of these awesome lizards we work with.

Success! yesterday we were able to send out 3 amazing tegus with 3 different stories. One was a young nuptial femail who came in as a capture and was brought to us by FWC. The next was a male who was found in port charlotte. His photo is still going around saying he's loose (photo ID proved it was the tegu in our care at the time a news station posted it was "roaming") and another tegu from a legally permitted facility that was down sizing. We were able to get each of these awesome homes out of Florida, although it took awhile do to weather conditions.Thank you to those who got these awesome animals.

It's definitely alot colder in Florida than normal.
Here are some tips

We would like to remind keepers to keep an eye on temperatures. Too hot can be damaging as well s9 please monitor your temps.

Many outdoor animals may need to be brought inside or secured in warm areas.

Please ensure when use carriers, totes, or cages that they are latched and secured.

Keep heaters away from things that could cause fires.

Check your heaters make sure there are no exposed wires. If you are supplying supplemental heat that you don't normally ( temporary do to cold) use please ensure they are secured and plugged into a thermostat.

We do suggest checking outdoor buildings and such every few hours or use a digital wifi thermostat that sends notifications when temps hit certain levels, as breakers get old and outages do occur.

For future possible cold weather we do suggest keep reptile hot packs on hand in case of emergencies as well as things like totes, carriers and even break down cages if possible.

Today we got the awesome opportunity to add an awesome little one to our mobile educational programs, but more importantly to our family. It will be awhile before she travels to some shows, for now she will fet used to all of us and we want to make sure he/she gets a good chance to adjust. This beautiful little rhino came from Iguanalands, Ty himself. We are truly grateful for this amazing opportunity to work with another awesome lizard species.

Update on the iguana we recieved today from our awesome permitees at NKS Reptiles . Also thank you wild things and exotics llc who were the real people who rescued this guy from a very cold night. Judging by his condition he likely wouldn't have survived too long in north Florida without the help of these awesome people. He seems friendly and he's missing a few nails and has some scars. Hopefully he does well.

Our permitees are amazing!!!! We do this to save the ones we can. Both ourselves and NKS did absolutely amazing to get this guy to us. He will be available to a home out of Florida once we make sure he's healthy and eating consistently. Great job on all parties involved, great teamwork.
