Tonight we had the pleasure of honoring our members at our annual banquet. Thank you Mrs. Chilek for always capturing these wonderful moments.
Good luck to our members competing at the State competition in Dallas this weekend!
Our Easter Extravaganza was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without the help of our wonderful community. We would like to thank Wharton HEB, Wharton County Foods, Frito Lay and Wharton Walmart for donating hot dogs, drinks, chips and eggs; Sissy Lou’s for donating cupcakes; CR Crafts and Party Creations for donating the backdrop; Walter and Monica Pospisil for donating tables; Lori Becerra and Erik Alameda for helping set up and clean up, and Belinda Arriaga for letting us borrow the bunny costume. We had so many people reach out to donate plastic eggs and fillers; Shirley Arriaga, Belle Hernandez, Mary Johnson, Bridgette Matula, Lisa Sanchez with McDonalds, and the many students, parents and staff at Boling High School. Thank you all so much for helping make this event special!
We have bingo, sack races and other games going on. Don’t be late for the egg hunt that starts at 2.
Come out tomorrow from 11-3 for our Easter Extravaganza at Boling High School. We will be set up across from the bus barn. We will have games, crafts and snacks for the kids. Don’t forget to bring your basket for the Easter egg hunt that will begin at 2 pm.
