Centenary student Manasi Desai had the opportunity to participate in the Future Chemist Workshop this past June.
"This year I attended my first ever Future Chemists Workshop, and the larger event that it was part of -- New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists' Suppliers' Day. There, not only did I get to formulate a sunscreen, but I also had the opportunity to meet many people from the cosmetic chemistry industry, including aspiring cosmetic chemists like myself. Cosmetic chemistry is a pretty niche industry which lives largely on the Northeast and West coasts, so being at one of the field's flagship events, surrounded by so much passion and innovation, was incredible."
