I graduated magna cm laude with my associates degree in Early childhood education from Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts. I am licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care as a family day care provider and I am Department of Early Education and Care, infant, toddler & pre-school

Hello, Hope this find you all staying safe & healthy. As you may know, Massachusetts child care centers were mandated to close on Monday March 23, 2020. I am are not sure when the mandated closure will be lifted.

I am amazed with the creative ideas that some educators have come up with in keeping in contact with their children and families during this crazy time.

I have been keeping in contact thru virtual circle time, including inviting our music & movement teacher to join us and talking to children individually. I have also made a few social distancing visits to their homes, dropping off fun bags, with the last one being dressed as the Easter Bunny leaving treats :)

For now, this is the new normal, and when we can reopen, we'll be in another phase of new normal. We miss everyone and can't wait until we can get back into some sort of new normalcy
