A huge congratulations to my wonderful student Kyle, who has decided to attend The University of North Texas to study music education and clarinet performance next year! He was accepted to all five (!!!) music programs that he applied to, and I could not be more proud of his hard work and dedication. I will miss teaching Kyle next year, but I know he is going to go on to do amazing things at UNT!
Thanks so much to Kyle's amazing parents Debbie and Bob for their support through this process!
Congratulations to my three students that were selected for All-Virginia Band this year! I am so proud of your hard work- this honor is well deserved!

G. Rossini: Duetto para dos Gatos- Duet for Two Cats
Normally I assign listening homework so students can experience different styles of music, and become more engaged listeners...but this week I decided that we needed some musical humor! Enjoy the "Duet for Two Cats" (which may or may not be by Rossini- apparently that is debatable)!
