With profound sadness, we share the passing of Samuel Springfield, age 21, on June 2, 2025.
Samuel left us far too soon, and our hearts are heavy as we try to process this loss. He was a bright light—funny, kind, thoughtful, and full of love. He impacted many lives in his 21 years, and he will always be remembered.
We invite all who knew and loved Samuel to join us for a Celebration of His Life:

Please come prepared to share your favorite story or memory of Samuel. We want to laugh, cry, and honor him together. A lunch will be served following the celebration. (Samuel loved any excuse to gather people together!) Please wear your favorite 'jewel-tone' colors.

🌱 In lieu of flowers, a scholarship is being established in Samuel’s name. Samuel loved Morning Star, and it would make him very happy to know that he played a part in helping others attend this very special school. More details will follow soon.

What a Tee-rific Day!

Monday, May 5th brought sunshine, laughter, and a whole lot of heart to our 54th Annual Gold Classic Golf Tournament. We’re beyond grateful to Jimmy and Nikki Ferrell, our wonderful Golf Committee, the incredible student and parent volunteers from Morning Star Catholic School and Bishop Moore Catholic High School, and every player who hit the greens for a great cause.

It was a beautiful day made better by all of you.
