All Madison HS students are invited to the Homecoming Kick-Off Dance on Saturday, September 30th from 8pm-11pm in the Elementary Gym.
This is not a formal dance and there is no admission cost.

The Madison HS Homecoming Dance will be held on September 30th in the elementary gym!
Seniors will be in the gym taking cash orders tomorrow-Monday morning before school starts. Students can also see me throughout the day as well or they can be ordered on My School Bucks. $15/dozen.
In honor of author Roald Dahl's Birthday today, we thought it was fitting to announce the Madison Performing Arts Club's Season of Musicals!
Our Elementary Performing Arts Club (grades 3-5) will perform "W***y Wonka Kids" December 7 & 8, Auditions in early October.
Our Middle School Performing Arts Club (grades 6-8) will perform "Matilda Jr." March 1-3, Auditions in December (before break.)
Even though it's not written by Roald Dahl, you will not want to miss the High School Performing Arts Club's presentation of "Big Fish" November 10 - 12!

JV and Varsity Annual Volleyball Awareness Game will be held Tuesday, Oct 3rd against Hudson. This year we have chosen to honor one of our own, Shane Hulshof, whom has been battling Colon Cancer over the past year.
As part of our awareness game on Tuesday Night, Oct 3rd, we will be pre-selling T-Shirts to support the cause and are asking everyone to wear their T-shirt to the game and flood the stands with Blue – which is the Colon Cancer Ribbon Color. Youth sizes also available.
The volleyball teams will also have a Silent Auction & Bake Sale that evening.
Please see the attached T-Shirt Order Form. High School volleyball player are collecting presale orders or they can be turned in in the high school to Coach Coward(Sitter) . Shirt sales are due no later than Sunday the 17th.
As always they are looking for donations for the silent auction. Examples are Gift Certificates to restaurants/services (oil Changes/Massages/Salons etc) or a themed Basket of some sort. If interested in donating something for the silent auction please email Coach Lanning at [email protected].
All proceeds from the shirt sales/Silent Auction/Bake sale will be donated to the family of Shane Hulshof.
Reminder -Orders and money can be given to a hs volleyball player or Coach Coward (Sitter) in the high school.
Pre-order your shirt now for $15.00 and mark your calendar to come show your support . The order gets you a shirt and admission to the game Oct 3rd if you wear your shirt.

The Varsity Football Game scheduled for this evening has been postponed to tomorrow evening, August 25th. We will host Columbia Central in a double header. The JV Football team will be playing at Madison, starting at 4 pm. The Varsity Football team will kick off at 7 pm. Hope to see you all at the games.

Madison High School is pleased to present, Social Media and Online Dangers, to all parents/guardians in the Madison School District.
Social Media and Online Dangers is a brief overview of the dangers facing kids in the digital world, including tips for parents to help keep them safe.
Social Media and Online Dangers is being presented by Justin Norlock, a Detective and Digital Forensic Analyst from the Northville police department, and will take place on Tuesday, August 22 at 6:30 in the Performing Arts Center. Parents of students in grades K-12 are invited, and strongly encouraged to attend.
Madison High School is pleased to welcome incoming freshmen to the 2023-2034 Freshman Orientation being held on Tuesday, August 22 from 6-7:30 in the Performing Arts Center. Students, along with their parents, should enter through the PAC doors to pick up this school year’s schedule & other documentation, and proceed into the PAC for the evening’s presentation.
Open house for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on Tuesday, August 22 from 6-7:30. Students in grades 10-12 can pick up their schedules and other important documentation in the High School lobby. Students who ordered a 22-23 yearbook can pick that up Tuesday night as well.

The high school is in search of freshman students who would like to share a locker for the 23-24 school year. If your student is willing to share a locker with a friend, please let us know as soon as possible. Permission must be granted from both families before a shared locker can be assigned. If your student shares a locker, this year's $25 tech fee will be waived. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Girbach at [email protected] with both student's names.

All-County Track and Field: Madison's Powers named girls coach of the year Madison's Powers named Lenawee County Girls Track and Field Coach of the Year

Madison's Cameron Bozyk was named to the all-state team for division 3. Cameron is the only Lenawee County golfer to be named to the all-state team.
As part of the PLTW Medical Interventions class, taught by Mrs. Katie McGormley, students were given the opportunity to become certified in an industry-recognized healthcare certification this past school year. Students were trained and sat for the national credentialing exam through NHA (National Healthcareer Association). The following 4 students passed and now are considered CETs (Certified EKG Technicians). Congratulations to the following students!
