Our first day back to class is Tuesday, September 8th! We can't wait to see everyone. We still have spots open for our Tuesday/Thursday Spanish immersion preschool, and our parent-tot class on Thursday mornings! Email [email protected] for more info!

Yak Academy will be opening a few minutes late today due to a traffic!

We are celebrating new life in French immersion preschool today and made a cute baby bird nest. We are ready for spring!

We are on an alternate schedule for Thursday morning preschool. We will have class from 10:30am-1:30pm. Please drive safely!

Our preschoolers did a fun science experiment testing out different objects for flotation and then they made their own boats to test.

Our preschoolers are learning about transportation and safety this month. They are loving all things that go VROOM!

Classes resume at the end of this week! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a great start to 2015!

We had the privilege of teaching our preschoolers about giving and had a packing party for Operation Christmas Child. These four little ones packed 8 boxes! Thank you to our families for your generosity! 4 little girls and 4 little boys around the world will have an extra Christmas blessing. We included notes in English, French, and Spanish, so hopefully we will have new friends abroad!

Mark your calendars! Yak Academy is hosting a mini Spanish immersion camp, LIFE IN THE CASTLE, for elementary aged students on Friday, October 17th from 9am-12pm. We are also hosting a Parents' Night Out (Spanish immersion) on Saturday, October 18th from 5:30pm-8:30pm. To get in on the fun, call us at 719-445-1925 or email [email protected].

¡Vamos al zoológico! We're going to the zoo!

Tomorrow we are having a meetup in Spanish at the zoo with some of our new teachers. RSVP using the Meetup.com site if you would like to hang out with your kiddos in a Spanish speaking environment!

We are now registering for fall Spanish and French immersion classes! **New this year** An extended kindergarten immersion class that meets once a week for 3 hours and will be run like a standard kindergarten class, but in Spanish!
