Life Beyond the Lesson Plan

As busy moms and homeschool parents, things can get overwhelming. There is Life Beyond the Lesson Plan, promise!

Homeschooling is something that is very personal to every family; each family chooses it for different reasons, has different needs, and approaches it in their own unique ways. Can I Really Homeschool? The answer is yes - and it may be easier than you think!

We are constantly trying to find the formula that will make our children more intelligent, better educated, more successful.

Want to know a secret? There really isn't one. There's no curriculum, no method, no schedule that will make your child succeed.

Instead, give them a lifestyle of learning. Let them be intensely curious - and feed that curiosity every chance you get. Teach them to dream, to think, to solve problems in new ways.

Their education shouldn't put them in a box - it should open up new worlds they can't wait to explore and discover. ❤️

Albert Einstein on education:

*It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry.

*If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.

*Creativity is intelligence having fun.

*A little knowledge is dangerous. So is a lot.

*Information is not knowledge.

*Never memorize something that you can look up.

*I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.
