Happy New Year! ππ
Thank you to those who have supported my slow and steady journey into coaching through 2020. There have been health challenges, COVID-19 among other lifeβs ups and downs, yet through the support network of family, friends and colleagues 2020 ended positively.
Letβs all look forward and take 2021 on without being scared to ask for help when we need it. The people who care for us do not judge and we know who they are π
Thank you for a wonderful start to the year with , Shannon and new swim buddies and Alex. Thank you for a lovely day and I look forward to the next one!
Today was a wonderful day which started with climbing, then a cold swim and a finished with 5 hour discussion, reflection and support from an amazing coach who has helped me constantly since I decided to be a coach myself a few years ago.
In our chat we reflected on playfulness and social connection in coaching for clients. However, I think it is also important to make sure we all add it to our daily routines.
My day today was a positive example of productive playfulness.
So to those who have inspired me today I thank you π
Lovely day for a swim!
Like any form of training our bodies adapt and improve based on the conscious stress you put upon it.
All of our goals are different and my goal with all training is to build resistance.
Make life easier by putting a little effort into the things that make you uncomfortable π
Thanks for the inspiration
Learn new things!
Life should be fun. Donβt forget to make it fun. Thatβs on you.
Big thanks and inspiration to my new friend Tor who shows not just myself, but many that you are never to old to learn new tricks. He is 63, climbs hard, rides a unicycle of road and the best part is he started learning these activities at the age of 60.
NO EXCUSES!
Have a great weekend! π
Air temperature is starting to drop, snow is starting to fall and the water temperature is 6,4 degrees... Perfect time for swim!
Have a lovely weekend! π
Today I give thanks to .donasen
Today was a lovely shared experience. I got some climbing tips from and he joined me for his first cold swim at Korsvika my local swim spot.
Thank you for taking the time to hang out ππ
Check out and follow his climbing journey on IG π
Enjoying the beautiful weather in Trondheim. What a lovely day for a swim ππ
Have a lovely day and be grateful to those who are close to you and help you get through the tougher times β€οΈ
Build tolerance by doing things that make you a little uncomfortable... Preferably for positive personal gain π
It doesnβt matter why I walk barefoot or swim in cold temperatures, find something that takes you out of your comfort zone that brings positive energy to your day.
Remember, itβs not a competition with a specific goal, itβs a journey, so enjoy it!
Have a wonderful day and give love to those who inspire you ππ

Today Iβm posting to give gratitude to
I would like to thank Kyrre for being very supportive and encouraging and at the same time showing me how to be a good coach through his experience, words and actions. π
You are and awesome guy who works hard, takes time to listen, reflect and help. You have a big heart mate π
Below is a translation of Kyrreβs post
βIn coaching and pedagogy, one tries to put the finger on the ability to convey, create a learning environment, engage and inspire. I myself have both a coaching and pedagogical education, but have not yet found the answer to what this x-factor really is.
Are they personality traits? A way of being? A charismatic energy? I do not know. But what I know it is that Grant has them all. All these rhetorical skills that make up the perfect teacher and source of inspiration. Real, honest and just a sick cool guy! (The last three words sounds better in Norwegian π)
Thank you so much for the kind words and the same goes my good friend ππ―β
