The first week of Summer Art Camp 2024 is over, and I am amazed by the awesome artwork these young artists have created. Their projects, ranging from pet portraits and alebrijes-inspired paper mache to found object masks, watercolors, and henna-inspired hand designs, have really impressed me. 🖌❤️🎨☺

Homeschool artists learned about the Folk art origins of the wooden Dalah horses from Sweden and decorated their Dalah-inspired horses with personal symbols. Our amazing artists then learned how to weave and finished their horses by creating decorative saddle blankets!

Awesome first day of Spring Break camp! Our artists had a blast NOT using brushes to create the Flower Meadow and Mr.Bumble! Using sponges, plastic straws, puff balls, Q-tips, were just a few ways we created this fun painting!
