Block Island Girls' Varsity home game @ 12:30 today against Johnston! Go Hurricanes!

Due to the forecast for a nor'easter, The Block Island School will hold a virtual learning day tomorrow, Tuesday 2/13/24. Similar to the past virtual learning day, all classes will have 3 hours of synchronous instruction. We will use the same schedule from 8:00am to 11:53am.

Open House is tonight, Monday October second. We will start in the Gym at 6:00 pm with a brief welcome from Principal Warner. In a more inclusive format, students are invited . Feel free to bring your child/children with you. We will end the evening with an Ice Cream Social.

Due to the forecast, there will be an early dismissal tomorrow on Thursday 9/7/23 . Transportation will be provided in the morning at the usual time. The bus will begin the drop-off from the school at approximately 11:06. A bag lunch will be available.. Students are asked to signup for lunch in the morning..

Dr. Pam Austen thought it would be nice to start a new Block Island School tradition of taking a staff photo on the teacher work day. Many of the staff were able to gather and start this new tradition.

Learning more ways to help the kids learn new things.

The staff is back and hard at work getting ready for the new year. We cannot wait to see everyone!
