🥳End of summer camp season celebration for a much deserving team. 🤪 Thanks to Massanutten Resort go-karts for the fun. We had a blast!
During summer planning (last March) we committed to pressing down the gas pedal this summer, and ended up reaching 150 kid and adult innovators with our summer camps and design-thinking teacher training workshops - 3x more than last summer. That's a win!!! 🏁🏆
So proud of our achievement and are grateful for our incredible team, supporting parents, school districts, and universities.
We look forward to continuing to spread innovation education throughout our community this school year through our Fall Innovator Club. Learn more and pre-register at www.juiceworks3d.com/register
Juice Works 3D
We make innovating easy!
3D Printing | Game Design | Robotics | CNC Milling and more
Innovation academy for ages 9+
Located in Harrisonburg, VA, JuiceWorks 3D is the Shenandoah Valley's premier digital maker STEAM program for kids. We believe that, given the right tools, kids have the greatest capacity for creativity and innovation because they haven't had either squeezed out of them. That's why we bring design-based 3D-printing, CNC-milling, and robotics & automation to them in our fun, focused, and hands-on after school and summer camps.

🚜[Cultivating Innovation] Another unscripted, uncut, episode on cultivating innovation from our Founder, Andrei Dacko from his family farm Flip-Flop Farm.
Today, Andrei shares how innovation is all about learning how to create value for others (both literally and figuratively) and how JuiceWorks3D helps aspiring innovators, both kids and adults, learn how to do that.💡
If you know an aspiring innovator local or not, especially one that has great ideas but is having trouble getting out of the gate, share this post with them.

🧒Emmett N. is one of our young Silver Level innovators who, at the ripe old age of 12, embodies the character, mind-, and skillset of our creative community of rising innovators. 🧒
🎥While he prefers to stay off camera, ironically, it's the camera that he's a wizard at (among other things tech related).
Check out this killer time lapse that Emmett created while helping out as a technical assistant at the 3D printing camp we're running in partnership with Blue Ridge Community College - Virginia this week.
If you're a former Iron Level 3D Printing camp student, can you guess which design challenge is being printed?
🙏Thank you Emmett for sharing your skills with us! 🙏
✌️It's Day 2 ✌️at Iron Level 3D printing camp for 9-12yr olds at Blue Ridge Community College - Virginia and they are doing some amazing work! Check out their day 1 innovation.
❤️ We are so grateful to our partners - Learning Creates Brighter Futures and their amazing team - for the opportunity to share innovation, applied design, and digital manufacturing with these young innovators. ❤️
💥Stay tuned for announcements about our Fall kid (ages 9-17) and adult (18+) innovation club classes starting in September: Mondays-Thursdays, daily sessions 2:30-4pm (homeschool), 4:30-6pm (after-school). 💥
While we're not in the juice bar business, our making classes in creative digital arts like 3d printing and game design do get your creative juices flowing so you can make some 3D cool!
Check out these awesome creations made by this week's amazing 3D printing and CNC milling students from our Iron level camp.
Meet Vivienne and Gus. 🥈They're pursuing their Silver level (Level 2) 3D printing qualification. 🥈That means, under Coach mentorship and supervision, they get to work on their own product design projects.
Well, we challenged them with a Gold level (Level 3) product design challenge which means, instead of designing and manufacturing their own product, they got to do it for a real-world client to help solve a problem they have! 🌟
Their client was Kiki Scott, Owner of Embracing Fire Designs who said she is frustrated with not being able to find a cell phone holder that can hold her phone in a specific way that other holders cant.
Well, Vivienne and Gus took those customer requirements and designed, modeled, and manufactured an amazing holder for Kiki!
We are so proud of Gus (14 yo) and Vivienne (10 yo) for taking the skills they learned in their Iron level (Level 1) classes and leveraging them to create this product AND for getting the reaction they did from Kiki for their work. They're also our first ever Silver level students! 🥳❤️🥈
If you're interested in joining Vivienne and Gus to learn these valuable creative digital skills so you can create your own products and solve problems for others too with applied design and digital fabrication, let us know! Fall classes begin soon.

Our students don't figure out how to do less, they actually try to figure out how to do (and make) more!
Why? Because what they learn at Juice Works 3D is art, not work.

A HUGE thanks to Emmett (son of Lora Barthmus Nalberczinski ), one of our talented (12yr old) wiz kids, for his kindness, generosity, and initiative, to plan (see his system diagram image below at left), install (see image below at right), test, and deploy it using his own donated Apple Airport Extreme devices. 💫💛
Thank you also to my son Noah (baseball hat) for assisting with hardware install and testing.🪛
We are so blessed to have the amazing people we do to help us better help our community to innovate. People, especially youth, amaze me with what they can achieve when you simply let them do it.
