Welcome to our class page! I am so glad you are following along with our journey this school year. I'd like to introduce myself and tell you a bit about me.
I graduated from UW-Stout in 2013 with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with an Early Childhood Special Education Certification. I also have a Masters Degree from WGU. This will be my 12th year teaching!
My husband is a Special Education teacher at MAES. We have 3 children, Elise, Milo and Cooper. We love to be outside, read books, travel and spend time as a family!
I am excited to start another new school year and look forward to teaching and getting to know your child. Please contact me throughout the year using your choice of communication avenues: Seesaw, email, phone call, or a note.
Thanks for visiting our page. I'm looking forward to a great year!

If you are looking for some beginning readers to help your child continue practice this summer, the Medford Public Library is a great resource! 📚
I hope you are all enjoying your Summer so far! ☀️
We learned all about the Summer Reading Program when we visited and the kids were so excited! Be sure to check it out! 📚
Running off to Summer Break! ☀️
I will truly miss these amazing kids so much! I hope you all have a wonderful Summer!
We had a great time at the park today! We had a picnic lunch and enjoyed playing! We also set our butterflies free today! It was so fun to watch them grow from tiny caterpillars into butterflies! 🦋
We had so much fun doing a field day with our middle school big buddies this morning! Our buddies planned fun stations for us to do. We also played some group games, had a treat and finished up with some tug of war. We were pretty excited to take 2nd place! What a beautiful day! ☀️
We had so much fun at the Public Library on Tuesday! It was a beautiful day for a walk. We watched a very silly puppet show and went on a scavenger hunt for different types of foods and talked about the food pyramid groups. We also read a story called “Bugs for Lunch” and then made our very own little snack bag of different kinds of “bugs”. 😉
Please check out the Public Library this summer! They do different events, story time, projects and snacks! They even do a Summer Reading Program where the kids can get prizes for checking out books! This is a great way to keep practicing our new reading skills, so they don’t forget over the summer! 📚
We had so much fun at our Black Light Party this morning! We also had some special visitors from 2nd grade do a readers theater for us! ☺️
Reminder: We are walking to the Public Library tomorrow. Please send good walking shoes!
Another fun field trip day! We had a great time at the Marshfield Zoo. We enjoyed seeing the animals, had a picnic lunch and played at the park! ☀️
We had so much fun at the School Forest today!
It was such a beautiful day that we ventured over to the School Barn! Mrs. Kopp had some of her horses there and we even got to hear from a real vet!
It was also letter “N” day, which meant we were able to choose a New Name for the day! They had a lot of fun with this!
M is for Marker Day! We got to do our class work with markers and it was a big hit! They had fun with this game we played to help us practice place value!
L is for Lego Day! We took some time to get creative with Legos!
We had a fun Friday! It was K- for Kindness Day! We focused on ways to be extra Kind today. We also had our High School Buddies come and do some stations with us and we played a Long Vowel Snakes and Ladders Game!
Have a great weekend everyone!
J is for Joke Day! Which means I have been telling the kids Jokes all day! 😉 They wanted to share one with you all. Hope it brightens your day!
“Why was 6 afraid of 7?”
I is for Ice Cream Sandwiches! I think these smiles say it all 🥰🍦
Friendly reminder about the last day of school!
We are off to a great start to our week! F for Friends (we made friendship bracelets), G for Games and H for Helper Day were a big hit! The kids were helpers by picking up trash around the outside of our school!
What a fun Friday we had!! Our class got to dance with the Firefighters at an all school assembly today! We also had our high school big buddies come visit!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Feel free to send them with your child to give to me! 🤍
We had way too much fun with Letter D for Dance Party today! A little music and some fun lighting was all we needed! 🎶
We enjoyed our trip to the Middle School to see our Big Buddies last week! We also started our ABC Countdown and so far have done A-Art Project, B-Bingo and today was C- Create with Chalk!
What a fun week we have had! We had dress up days for the Week of the Young Child, attended the High School Play “Alice and Wonderland”, had a blast with “Harry and Company” and received our March and April books from our Sponsors! (Thank you book sponsors!)
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather! ☀️
We attempted to see the Solar Eclipse, but it was just too cloudy. ☹️ It was a really fun way to end our unit on the Solar System!
Reminder: Optional dress up days start tomorrow to celebrate The Week of the Young Child!
