WCMS Flag Marshals

The WCMS Flag Marshals completed their project that they raised money for all year. They worked hard and completed a study garden. They have a piece still coming, but it looks great so far!

Monday, January 9th was National Clean Your Desk Day, so the Flag Marshals grabbed some Clorox Wipes and cleaned all of the desks in our Middle School, and the tables in the conference rooms.

Big Shout out to The Inked Tee and Owens Welding! Our Flag Marshals were so surprised when they received this one of a kind ornament from Owens welding (Isaac Owens) and our super soft and warm hoodies courtesy of The Inked Tee (Michelle Sands). You certainly made our Christmas a special one! with Catherine Hardy and Laura Burgess

The Flag Marshals were honored to participate in yesterday's Veterans Day program at WCMS. They greeted our guests, handed out programs, and presented each branches flag as their song was played. Thank you Lowes in Cornelia for assisting us attaining our military flags and poles.

Shout out to Burt's Pumpkin farm for supporting the WCMS Fall Festival and donating 40+ pumpkins!!!!!!!

WCMS Fall Festival was a blast! Our student leaders organized the event, and the flag marshals sold pickles and did face paint! Thank you to all who came out and supported us! We had a lot of fun selling out of our 4 jars of pickles and painting hearts, unicorns, and basketballs and faces! Thank you student leaders and GREAT JOB!

Today the WCMS flag marshals received their official badges! Congratulations everyone!!!!!!

Happy National Coaches Day to our WCMS Coaches!

Thank you to Chief Shoemaker and the White County Police Department for allowing us to come and be the first to retire our worn out flags in your new depository!

Happy Custodians Day! Thank you for all you do to keep our school clean and welcoming. The Flag Marshals treated our day custodian to lunch and our night crew to dinner!

October 1st is National Coffee Day? Well we partnered with Farmhouse Coffee to bring their delicious blends of coffee to our admin, secretaries, and our Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent! Thanks Farmhouse for supporting us!

After pizza and a brainstorming session, we spread some laughs with pumpkin jokes on all employees doors! Happy Fall Ya'll!

On September 12th, the WCMS flag marshals hosted the Cleveland, Helen, and White County Emergency personnel to lunch at our school! We celebrated them and thanked them for keeping our community safe.

In September, the flag marshals wanted to give each student that came through the door a positive message, so we wrote positive quotes on the sidewalk!
