This is a list provided by a high school librarian. These are books for 4th graders and up. I have purchased many for Stratton's library. You can find many of these titles in a e-book or audiobook format on www.limitlesslibraries.org/ which may be more appealing to teenagers. Remember change is starting with our youth on race relations. Open dialog with your children. You will be impressed at how they are processing the world around them.
This List is Anti-Racist For teachers and the young people they teach.
These books cover social justice. The first book on this list is an anchor text that we teach our students in our district.
5 books to teach your kid about privilege and socioeconomic differences These titles will help spark important conversations with your kids about privilege, socioeconomic differences, and empathy for others.
In light of recent events in our country. I challenge parents to read the following books to engage in dialog with your children.
27 books to help you talk to your kids about racism alking to your kids about racism can be tough. Here are some books to help get them thinking about it.
