Hey Friends, If you have not heard of #PlaywithRay before, it is a competition hosted by Ray Chen, where applicants submit recordings of them "Playing with Ray." Ray gave us a recording of his part to the piece, and we were supposed to play our part with him. This time around, Ray picked Felix Kreisler's, "Liebeslied." Liebeslied translates to "Love's Sorrow". I like the bittersweet feeling of this piece, and I really think it matches the world's current condition.

Since this was an "At Home Edition" of play with ray and the current pandemic situation, I wanted to do something unique and special. So I decided I would show you my home! We filmed in the Snake River Canyon, and Blue Lakes Country Club generously let us film on their property. You can see the Perrine Bridge in the background. This bridge is a large tourist spot for us in Twin Falls because it is one of the only man-made structures across the USA that you can BASE jump off of all year round without a permit.

When I had this idea, I asked Welch Music and they were so gracious to bring a piano down in the canyon. The Magic Valley Times News was also awesome in writing a story about this in the newspaper!
