As I look at the pictures and watch the videos it gives me the same thoughts and feelings I get from the karate posts on his page. I have no personal connections or knowledge of the karate world. I see students who have worked hard to learn the skills of karate and see in their faces self pride and confidence. I know each and every student carries a part of their instructor with them. The life lessons you teach; to work hard for each belt, that it won't be just handed to them, the self discipline, the respect to themselves and others, the higher moral standards they are held accountable to. You teach your students great self defense skills and lessons along the way that make them the right kind of leaders we so desperately need in our nation. I appreciate, honor, and respect the life commitment you, and all karate instructors, give to your students . You really make a difference.

9th Degree Black Belt Ed Saenz got his start in martial arts in 1967 as a student of Chuck Norris. Mr. Saenz has spent his entire professional life in the martial arts and fitness business. In his current position as Directior of Operations for Mr. Norris’ KICKSTART program, Mr. Saenz is responsible for instructors, school operations and program development, overseeing more than 6,000 students and more than 40 black belt instructors in 38 programs in 34 middle schools, one high school and one elementary school in the Houston and Dallas areas. Mr. Saenz ability to translate the vision of KICKSTART into real terms is proven by the success of the program. He is a true example of the tenets of the martial arts and the commitment of those involved with KICKSTART. Ed Saenz is also the Board of Directors For Chuck Norris The United Fighting Arts Federation (UFAF) is a martial arts organization founded by Chuck Norris in 1979.[1] UFAF is the governing and sanctioning body for the martial art of Chun K*k Do, providing technical standards for instruction and advancement in the system.
