Does your child need a little extra help in Spanish, English, or reading? I would love to help! Please contact me via email [email protected]
I taught Spanish to native speakers, and others at the high school level for years, co-workers and friends have suggested I teach Spanish to adults and students either one to one or in small groups. I finally decided to do it! In the Golden Triangle, I interpreted on a daily basis for physicians, nurses, and patients in a hospital. My brother, a deputy sheriff on patrol, advised that law enforcement personnel also needs to learn commands at a minimum. For those who have always wanted to learn, who bought software and were disappointed because it was "too basic." I will teach you proper pronunciation so that you will be understood. Along with proper grammar and punctuation. Because we have all experienced the frustration of trying to understand someone who thinks they are speaking English, but cannot understand him or her because they do not pronounce the words correctly. But most of all, it is fun to be able to converse and think in two languages!
The kids are back at school today!
Some parents have reached out to me to help their children who are struggling in elementary school reading, high school Spanish classes that are taught at a university pace, and I am more than happy to help!
My hourly rate is below market rate at $45 - $50 per hour and my kids get the individual attention they need.
Give me a call or text if you think your child might benefit from more confidence in the classroom! (409) 550-8972
Did you know that most universities require that applicants have three years of a foreign language for admission?
When I taught Spanish at Central High School, there were a few students who wanted to learn and came for tutoring after school. It is such a joy to teach when the students really want to learn!
Even if your child is not falling behind, the confidence kids get from learning quickly is amazing! When they get one to one tutoring from me, they will enjoy improved self esteem at school and in other classes too!
Contact me and it will be a pleasure for both of us to see your child excel.
