We will offer two 4-day sessions: June 19-22 and July 24-27, both from 9:30 am to noon and two two-day sessions: June 20 & 21 and July 25 & 26, both from 1:00-3:30 pm.

The 4-day session is designed to help students complete up to three essays or short answer responses, and the 2-day session is designed to help students complete one main essay. Please feel free to reach out if you are unsure which option is best for your student.

You may have missed a college visit over spring break due to COVID-19; your plans to visit campuses this summer may be up in the air. Many, many colleges are currently offering virtual campus tours and visits right now on their websites (search under Admissions or Prospective Students) where you can see the campus through pictures and/or videos and get a feel for the culture of the school. Be sure to register for virtual visits if possible so colleges have a record of your interest. Current juniors, this is a great way to start building a list of schools where you plan to apply; another great goal is to aim to have a first draft of this list in place by the end of May.

We pray your family is safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. So many aspects of life have been turned upside down in these past few weeks, including college admissions. We are monitoring the impact closely. We are currently developing an online contingency plan that preserves our cornerstone quality instruction and one-on-one feedback should we not be able to conduct our summer workshops in a face-to-face environment.

College admissions trends we are seeing for current juniors include a decline in the importance of standardized tests as well as grades for the spring 2020 semester. This will place increased importance on grades for Fall of 2020. Using this summer to complete college admission essays will be a vital step for students to set themselves up for college admissions success on the other side of COVID-19.
