Our President & CEO had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with WSRE In Studio to discuss how our organization impacts the lives of youth across the country, and within the , Florida community.
We were joined by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Escambia County County Commission to discuss our local partnerships. We're especially proud of our U.S. Department of Labor grant in which we're helping youth gain valuable training and placed into jobs in the community.
Also joining the conversation was a board member of the local program, the Executive Director, and a young man who is successfully working his way through the program!

And when our staff spread their wings and strive for their own success beyond our doors, we celebrate that too! Mr. Wright worked with our youth in Savannah River and in other communities for more than 20 years. We're so glad to see him reach new heights with Statesboro High School in Bulloch County Schools District! We wish him all the success possible!

We had an awesome time last week out on the water with our kids! The annual Presidential Dive Challenge is an opportunity of a lifetime for our youth. Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who made it possible!

At 10:30 AM today we lay to rest our founder, Judge Frank Orlando. This great man leaves behind a lasting legacy of hope and success for those most in need. He will forever live on in our hearts as we continue the mission he started over 50 years ago. Thank you for your vision and passion, Judge Orlando. Rest in peace.

The AMIkids Family mourns the loss of a great man, and our founder, Judge Frank Orlando. It was his vision fifty years ago to find a better, more effective way to help juveniles on the wrong path. It became his mission to help others in the juvenile justice field understand this vision and spread his message. Because of Judge Orlando, hundreds of thousands of vulnerable youth and their families have benefited from our services, strengthening communities across the country. Rest in peace, Judge Orlando.
