Our word for today from the LORD.

It reminds me that we are all on a unique journey with our God, and that He is so patient with us as we walk with HIM. Some days it feels like baby steps, but I'm so glad that the LORD is here beside me. May He be beside each of my students throughout their entire life. Faith is HIM is the most important thing I can teach them.

LORD I know that you hear my prayers!

I just want to thank everyone who prayed for my daddy who had open heart surgery last Monday. He is home now and is taking it easy. I’m so grateful that the surgery seems to have been a success and I just need continued prayers that he would continue to get better and stronger as the recovery for the surgery is about three months. God bless you all and thank you!

NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, February 3rd as teachers will be finalizing 2nd 9-week grades. Report cards come out on Friday, February 10th.

REMINDER: Students return to school in person on Thursday, January 5th. Welcome back from winter break!

Don't miss our Second Annual Wings-Giving celebration! As we count all of the things we are thankful for, we also take time to enjoy chicken wings, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing! Dear Parents,

Thanksgiving break is nearly upon us and in the spirit of Thanksgiving we will be having our 2nd annual "Wingsgiving" on Friday, November 18th. This was a big hit last year and we want to continue the tradition. Mrs. Clemons (our chef for lunch) will be providing chicken wings, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing.

We are asking families to send in a dessert that would be in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Some parents have already suggested pumpkin pie and other traditional desserts. Anything you can send will be appreciated. The school will provide soda for the kids to drink.

Also, the students are allowed to wear their pajamas to school on Friday. We will be having a day full of fun!

No school tomorrow, November 10th due to inclement weather. No school on Friday, November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day. Students will report back to school on Monday, November 14th.

We had a wonderful time of worship, prayer, and meditation on God's Word today in Bible Class. Please keep our students in prayer that they may encounter the Lord in real and meaningful ways! We serve an awesome God!

In our daily Bible Study, we are learning to hear the voice of God. We use soothing instrumental music in the background to help get us into the "right mood" to receive from God's Word.

Today's scripture to focus on is: Romans 5:6-7
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -NIV

Have you spent time with the Lord today? Take some time and meditate on God's Word with your student. Make time for God today, right now...He's waiting for you! And, He has so much to share with you.

In the beginning of our walk with the Lord, we may not recognize his voice because we haven't spent enough time with Him. As we spend more and more time with Him we begin to KNOW Him. In this scripture we learn that "God's nature is self-giving love, which always acts in the best interest of His creation, even of his enemies."

"While we were sinners, Messiah died for us." He died for all of those that spat in His face, denied Him, hurt Him, cursed Him, etc... God's nature is to love even those that don't deserve His love. We serve an awesome God!

US History students of Mrs. Lessard have a quiz on Chapter 1 on Wednesday, October 26th.

Students are back in regular classes today, Monday, October 24th. Our MAP testing went very well last week. I'm excited to share the results with our parents!

Also, last day of the 1st 9 weeks is Thursday, November 3rd. All assignments must be turned in by November 3rd. November 4th, school is closed to students so that the teachers may have an in-service day to work on report cards.

Our standardized testing (MAP testing) is this week (October 18-21) with the 21st being our testing make up day. If your student has completed all of their testing, they do not need to come to school on Friday, October 21st.

TREE OF LIFE TALLAHASSEE SCHOOL will be CLOSED on Monday, October 10th in observance of the 1st day of Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles). We are commanded in the Bible to take this day as a HOLY Convocation. Blessings!

TREE OF LIFE TALLAHASSEE SCHOOL will be closed on Wednesday, October 5th in observance of Yom Kippur.

Out of an abundance of concern for safety, Tree of Life Tallahassee School will be closed from Wednesday, September 28th through Friday, September 30th.

Our middle and high school art class is experimenting with pencil drawings of our Lord and Savior Jesus (Y'shua the Messiah!). Aren't they precious drawings!

TREE OF LIFE TALLAHASSEE SCHOOL will be closed on Monday, September 26th in observance of Rosh HaShannah. Please mark your calendars.

Our middle and high school students are reading The Diary of Anne Frank.

HISTORY: LEARNING ABOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA USING THEIR OWN PHONE DEVICES. Putting the technology the kids have available to them to work for them in a positive way.

We are working on bringing smart boards to the classrooms and new technologies.
