On this Veterans Day and always, we honor, respect, and remember men and women who serve our country including those who paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. Gabrielle is thankful to be from a family of veterans including her dad Gabe, brother David, uncle, grandfather, great uncle, and cousins. She knows from experience that the families also serve and sacrifice. Her dad was deployed 2 of the first 7 years of her life, and her brother was deployed during his son's first year of life. From her volunteer work with vets, she also knows that serving doesn't end when separated from the military; there are often lifelong effects. The sacrifices veterans make every day, including giving their lives for our freedom, is immeasurable.... To all who serve, THANK YOU. We salute you!

On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the fallen and their family members. Thank you to all who serve or have served our country, and especially all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our freedom. Service also includes families, and growing up in a military family, we know how challenging it is to have our loved ones deployed....

I watched the flag pass by one day.
It fluttered in the breeze
A young marine saluted it, and then
He stood at ease.
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud
With hair cut square and eyes alert

I thought, how many men like him

How many died on foreign soil?
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes shot down?

We are so excited to celebrate these tremendous leaders today at our Leadership Academy graduation ceremonies and to announce 2015 Leader of the Year! All worked hard to commit to becoming even better versions of themselves. The Leadership Academy is a 12-month program for professionals with curricula, assessments, evaluation, mentoring, and coaching. It is a partnership of Gabrielle Consulting, Inc. and Tallahassee Community College TCC that helps take leaders to higher levels of achievement, performance, work-life balance, and joy! We are one Earth, united against terrorism. ALL acts of violence including those carried out recently in Paris, affect each of us. We need to unite in love and compassion to ensure that good overcomes evil....
We are one Earth, united against terrorism. We were personally affected when terrorists killed our beloved family member Richard Gabrielle in the 9/11 attacks in the World Trade Center in New York. Our hearts go out to all affected by terrorism including those in recent attacks on Paris and Beirut.
