Our Advent Midweek services will be on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. December 1, 8, 15 & 22. We will be using a Vespers liturgy in Lutheran Service Book, and our sermons will include quotes and “life lessons” we might learn from the book “A Christmas Carol.” If you haven’t read that book in some time, this might be a good time to enjoy it again! The Advent candles symbolizing the Christian virtues of hope, joy, love, and peace will be lit as a way of helping us focus on the Incarnation of our Lord.

During both of our worship services on Sunday, August 8th, we will call all students to come forward, and bring along their backpack or lunchbox if they have one. At this time we will offer a special blessing, leading the congregation in prayer for all students, educators, and staff as they begin the new school year.
