We’d also like to congratulate Colleen for being named the winner of the 2019 Journal of Marketing Outstanding Reviewer Award. This is another first! 🏆

Diamandis, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation. These students had the opportunity to attend an exclusive meet and greet prior to the event to get to know Mr. Diamandis as well. The AMA hosts this competition every year for students from the 388 collegiate chapters to participate in. This years sponsor is Sherwin-Williams. Throughout the competition, students are tasked to take on the role of a Sherwin-Williams sales rep with the goal of converting someone using a competing supplier. 🎨

Last week, Dr. Luke Hopkins took students from his MAR4238 Advanced Retail Management class to Brown’s Kitchen Center. This trip brought students outside of the classroom and showed them how merchandising strategies are implemented in a fun, informative and interactive cooking class! 👩🏼‍🍳Hands-on learning never looked so good. 🎂

Last Friday, Dr. Dhruv Grewal, Toyota Professor of Commerce and Electronic Business at Babson College, spoke at our Wells Fargo Distinguished Scholar Series. Students and faculty interested in gaining insight into Grewal’s expansive knowledge attended this event. Grewal is one of the most prolific scholars in his field, publishing over 120 recognized academic journals. To hear more speakers like this, make sure to keep up with our page for future events!

During the annual Leadership Awards Night, sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, a total of 24 awards were presented to our Florida State University - College of Business students for excelling in their fields and demonstrating admirable leadership. A special congrats to the Marketing Department students who were honored with these elite accolades!! 🏆🎉

Let’s give a HUGE congratulations to our very own American Marketing Association FSU. This weekend on their trip to the AMA Collegiate International Conference, they made FSU history. For the very first time, AMA FSU has earned a national ranking. Out of 388 chapters across the nation, our Noles placed in the TOP 15!🏅🎉

This past weekend, the American Marketing Association FSU attended the American Marketing Association Regional Conference. Marketing students Zuzanna Szulc & Leah Percal won 1st place in the Marketing Strategy competition, and Leah Percal placed 2nd in the Perfect Pitch competition. Carlos Falsiroli and Gabe Chisano also represented at the conference.

Congratulations to Dr. Corinne Kelley on successfully defending her dissertation titled: “Consumer-Based Strategy and Organizational Frontlines: The Role of Socially Induced Interactions and Atmospherics on Consumer Behavior”. Corinne will join the faculty at the University of Kentucky this summer.
