C.K. Steele-Leroy Collins All Male Charter Academy is named in honor of the late Reverend C.K. Steele, Sr. renowned community leader, and the late honorable Leroy Collins, former Governor of Florida. Through their outstanding leadership qualities, community service and their compelling desire to instill a positive attitude in each person, these two dynamic individuals serve as a role model for our students. The C. Steele-Leroy Collins All Male Charter Academy is open and ready to serve male students in grades six through residing in Leon and Wakulla counties

The C.K. Steele-Leroy Collins All Male Charter Academy is a public school of choice that will open in August 2013. Prior to the transition to an All Mall Charter Academy the C.K. Steele-Leroy Collins Community Charter Middle School first received its charter in 1996 as one of the state’s first charter schools. It remains one of Leon County’s first Schools of Choice, and there is no required school fee.
