The Afterschool Meals Program (AMP) provides free, nutritious food to children 18 and under in Leon County. Second Harvest food bank currently sponsors this program at four locations:

• Jack McLean Community Center
• Leverne Payne Community Center
• Palmer Munroe Teen Center
• Walker Ford Community Center

Meal service at each site starts at 3:00 PM, M-F, and sign-up is not required.

The Community Connections Restorative Justice program is a 12-week program held at the Palmer Munroe Teen Center. These grant funds will help with nonviolent communication training and case management, among other things, for the youth who participate. Tallahassee's Premier Center for Teens In August 2010 the Palmer Munroe Teen Center opened its doors as the first teen center in Tallahassee, Florida.

For years the Tallahassee community has been asked to provide a place dedicated to teen youth development; a place dedicated to serving some of our most vulnerable youth; a place for teens to expand their opportunities, learn about social responsibility, civic awareness and be gently guided through a restorative justice program.
