Fit and Functional will soon be offering infrared sauna sessions!

▪️Today we are discussing DETOX. Sweating during a sauna session is a great way for your body to detox and get rid of any toxins.

▪️An Infrared sauna heats the body directly which raises your core body temperature- delivering a deep and more intense sweat.

▪️Follow us to get more information about infrared saunas and when we will be opening sign ups for sauna sessions!

If you get tired standing with your band rows, just have a seat. :)
Joking aside here’s an alternative way of doing rows and getting some additional core work in at the same time. The key here though is that you have to lock yourself in position with your core and not rely on the band for support as you pull.

Band Circles with Ball Squeeze:
A core/trunk stability exercise more so than a shoulder exercise. Adding the ball adduction squeeze helps stabilize the hips and increase core activation.
You want your trunk to be steady as possible as you perform the band circles. Exhaling with the movement.

Check out Sherman Rosier demonstrate 4 progressive levels of a basic flat bench Alternating Dumbbell Chest Fly! Dumbbell flys will work both of your chest muscles, the larger pectoralis major and the smaller pectoralis minor which, when fully developed, can give you the 'chest separation' look that most people strive for.
