This month we are featuring *two* of our amazing students at Music Lessons Express- Gokila Tamilselvan and her daughter Anjali. Gokila is a PhD candidate and a Specialized Teaching Faculty in the field of Computer Science, Digital Forensics, and Cybersecurity at Florida State Computer Science . Anjali is 6 years old and a first grader at Florida State University Schools - FSUS . They have both studied piano at MLE for 1.5 years with instructor Frank Kuhny.

A team of Florida State University researchers has received a $2.9M grant from the National Institute on Aging - NIH to identify new ways to detect and treat age-related cognitive decline and . Professors from the FSU Department of Psychology Alumni & Friends and Florida State Computer Science, both part of the FSU College of Arts & Sciences, will lead the multidisciplinary team.

Team Peyman won the 3Day startup that happened recently in Tallahassee (Peyman is a CS PhD Student). 4 out of the 5 team members were CS Majors: Peyman Fraizan, Ryan Kuhl, Lina Volkova, Emily Morehouse, and Frank Valcarcel. The team built an application named Limestone, which is a personalized Internet aggregator. Together they wrote over 2000 lines of code and made 50 commits in just 2 days! Congratulations, Entrepreneurs.
