Meet Corinne Roethke, our Head of Programming for the 2023-24 school year! Corinne is a rising junior from Jupiter, Florida. She is a double major in Criminology and Art History. Corinne’s outside involvement includes Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, and Undergraduate Representative for Association for Racial Equity for the School of Art History. She is also currently employed at local law firm Messer Caparello P.A. as a Runner!

Meet Jamari Davis, our Treasurer for the 2023-24 school year! Jamari is a rising senior from Jacksonville, Florida. He is a Criminology major with a certificate in U.S Intelligence. Jamari’s outside involvement includes being a secretary for the INFAMOUS Iota Delta Chapter Of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Meet Grace DiVito, our Head of Public Relations for the 2023-24 school year! Grace is a rising junior from Chicago, Illinois. She is a Criminology major with a Psychology Minor. Grace’s outside involvement also includes Kappa Delta Sorority, in which she sits on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team, along with the FSUPD citizen’s police academy!

Ellis’s outside involvement includes Communications chair for Homecoming, an Outreach Trustee for Student Foundation, and the Recruitment Coordinator for Phi Eta Sigma!

Meet Mariah Szekeres, our Secretary for the 2023-24 school year! Mariah is a rising senior from Jacksonville, Florida. She is a double major in Criminology and Family and Child Service. Mariah’s outside involvement includes interning at the American Children’s Campaign (ACC), volunteering at Tallahassee Animal Services, and she is finishing research with UROP!

Meet Abby Phillips, our Head of Public Relations for the 2022-23 school year! Abby is a junior from Chicago, Illinois. She is a Criminology major with a minor in Communications and an emphasis on Social Media Marketing. Abby is passionate about racial justice and enjoys traveling, taking pictures, and content creation. She is also the Public Relations Chair for the Women in Pre-Law Society.

“I am so excited to serve as the PR Chair this year! My goals within this organization are to support other Criminology students in their academic and professional endeavors, to use our social media sites as a resource for active communication and the promotion of events, and to support the other exec members in whatever way I can!”

Quenisha enjoys dancing, bullet journaling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rodolph is also the Vice-President of the Legal Empowerment Brigade, a member of CARE19, and is a Spring 2022 Initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Meet Marlon Derilus, our Chair for the 2022-23 school year! Marlon is a rising senior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a Criminology major with a minor in Philosophy and is passionate about racial equality, criminal justice, and his faith. Marlon is also the Freshman Leadership Institute Director, the BSU’s Coalition of Black Organizational Leadership Director, and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He enjoys playing sports, hiking, and shopping.

“This upcoming school year, I’m looking forward to the progression in my leadership, more career opportunities, and moving into a house”.

Good Morning and happy Monday! We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to the DEA Guest Speaker Event on Thursday night. We had the privilege of listening to presentations from both Dr. Jeremiah Bailey and Mr. Benjamin Ross, and had an incredible turnout.

This was our last event of the semester, so thank you all for coming to our events, have a great summer break and we will see everyone again in Fall of 2022!

Come join us for our DEA Guest Speaker event this Thursday, April 14th from 6pm-7pm! It will take place in The Globe room 2500 with presentations from The Drug Enforcement Administration’s Dr. Bailey and colleague Benjamin Ross. Food will be provided. We hope to see you all there!!

We had the opportunity to hear from guest speakers Assistant Director George Lauder, Deputy Assistant Director Marcus Watson, Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Field Division Craig W. Saier, and the Chief of Staff for the Office of Field Operations Jennifer Cicolani. Thank you all again for the amazing turnout!

Good Morning and happy Monday everyone! Next Thursday, April 7th, from 6pm-7pm we will be hosting the Spring 2022 ATF Event! It will be held in the Claude Pepper Center in the Broad Auditorium, see the flyer for additional information. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

We will also be collecting donations for the School Supply Drive for the Pace Center for Girls at this event, and every additional event through the rest of the semester, as well as every market wednesday. If you donate 4 or more items from the provided list (see school supply drive flyer) you will receive a t-shirt! Thank you everyone!
