If you have not visited the Children's Week Celebration of Hands art installation yet, you still have the remainder of this work week to go by TCC Center for Innovation. There you will find thousands of children's hands from across the state, serving as a reminder to legislators, advocates, and all visitors that Florida’s children are impacted by the policy decisions made by the legislature.
Many thanks to WTXL Tallahassee for covering our Celebration of the Hands event at the TCC Center for Innovation and The Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence! The Celebration of the Hands display is open to the public through Friday, April 16.
Thank you to our many providers who submitted hand artwork for the annual Celebration of Hands art display! Given the current limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to display them at the Capitol Rotunda this year. We are, however, thankful to keep the annual tradition alive and thrilled to announce a new Tallahassee location for this year's Celebration of the Hands, which will be fully accessible for visitors and the public to view.
Please join us at the TCC Center for Innovation and The Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence (INIE) to see children's magnificent hand artwork from all across the state, Monday April 5 to Friday April 9. This year's Celebration of the Hands may have a new venue, but its beauty and impact remain unchanged.

Today was a great day for Tallahassee. We were honored to be a part of the launch of Impact Food Services’ self-serve kiosks.
Chamber Board Member, ShaRon James saw an opportunity to provide healthy food in a manner that fit the changing dynamic of our time and brought the idea to life!
We’re looking forward to seeing many more kiosks around the capital city!

Celebrate Local! The Impact Foods Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place Monday, March 1st, 11am at TCC Center for Innovation!
Impact Food Services Group (“Impact Foods”) is excited to announce that a brand-new self-service, fresh food kiosk is now available at the TCC Center for Innovation, just inside the Pensacola Street entrance. Please join us for the Impact Foods Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, March 1st at 11am. Festivities will take place outdoors (directly outside the TCC Center for Innovation, Pensacola Street entrance) and light refreshments will be provided.
Offering conveniently located access to healthier food options, the Impact Foods fresh food kiosk is an innovative addition to Downtown Tallahassee. Although Downtown is host to many restaurants, the hours and menus at these restaurants can be limiting, especially to those with specific dietary restrictions. Impact Foods hopes to have at least 20 kiosks in operation throughout the city by summer 2021 with expansion into other Florida cities by 2022. In addition to providing access to healthy food through the placement of the kiosks, Impact Foods has a long-term mission to address food insecurity in the city's food deserts, increase access to fresh food, and lower the costs of healthy food options.
This event is proudly hosted by Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, Capital City Chamber Of Commerce, TalChamber, Apalachee Regional Planning Council, and Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality!
