Be careful today, Cowboys.

Although primary roads are improving, many secondary roads are still slick. The OSU PD has responded to multiple accidents today. If you don't have to get out, don't. If you do, try to wait until conditions improve if you can.

Be careful and stay warm! 🧥🥾

Hey Stillwater,
We are seeing a lot of the main roads improving. Most of the ice has melted on the primary roads, the secondary roads are still slick and have ice on them, but the melting that is occurring is helping with traction and improving their conditions. The side roads and neighborhoods have a ways to go to get better. The temperature at the Mesonet site says that it is 32F. That is helping immensely.

As the temperature continues to rise, the roads will improve just as fast as they got bad. There will be some patches in areas that are sheltered, but navigable. There is a 70%k chance of rain for tomorrow, but the temperatures will be high enough to keep things from freezing, just a really cold rain.

Any melting that occurs today will not freeze this evening. Temperatures will remain high enough ahead of the rain, to keep things in check.

Stay safe, stay warm.

Thanks for making good decisions and helping one another.
