College isn't job training - it's MUCH more, and it's no guarantee of a job - but it is likely to improve and increase your job prospects for a lifetime. So don't let people tell you you shouldn't go to college because you won't be able to find a job afterwards. Much more is accomplished at college than just learning how to perform a job - like becoming an educated citizen, learning leadership skills, learning to understand and work with individuals who are different from oneself, learning personal responsibility, maturing, and much more! It's not for everyone, but everyone should consider college.
Think college isn't worth it? Americans with only a high school diploma are twice as likely to be unemployed as those who earned a bachelor's degree. Click "share" to post this image on your wall.
