Last Friday, Al Fatih Academy invited our middle school students to watch a living history performance. The show took us back to the 1800s during the time of Elizabeth Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. Students learned about what life was like and the struggles behind the Women’s Suffrage Movement.
High school students at Hidayah doing yard work as part of their community service. Leadership starts at the grassroot level.
Upcoming events in January, InshaAllah.
Extra extra! Read all about! Hidayah Academy’s newspaper club has released their first copy of “Fernbank’s First”. The newsletter contains interviews, student achievements, asking for field trip suggestions and much more. This was 100% done by our students, we are so proud of these future journalists!
Come have coffee for a cause or maybe a scoop of frozen yogurt or two, your treat will support our school too!

Last Friday we had our honor roll ceremony which recognizes students who have attained academic success this past quarter, and inspires all our students to strive harder and perform their best in all subjects.
Students who made the A and AB honor roll received medals, certificate and a gift card to the school store.
In keeping with last quarter's theme of Kindness, teachers were asked to nominate students who went out of their way to help others, encourage their friends, or chose to be kinder to themselves to be a better person. Each student that was nominated received a badge and a gift certificate to the school store.

SAT scores help colleges compare students from different high schools. Scores show your strengths and readiness for college work. But we also know that scores are just one part of a college application, along with grades, course rigor and recommendations.
For this reason, Hidayah Academy teachers are working diligently with seniors in all the areas needed to not only get into college but thrive in it.
Extra-curricular activities are in full swing now. All of these clubs were initiated, marketed and executed by our amazing students, MashaAllah.
