Start the day by having each member identify how they are feeling in the morning. Throughout the day, family members can change how they are feeling and identify it using the chart as needed. This will help to spark dialogue about feelings and how family members can help or celebrate with one another.

Despite the hurricane, we soared at Kiddie Academy of Harmony with unforgettable experiences! Our Foam Party, water games, and Splash Pad brought endless joy, and Tikki's ice cream party was the cherry on top. We appreciate our remarkable parents for their unwavering support and kindness. At Kiddie Academy, one essential center is the cozy corner. This special area provides children with a safe and comforting space where they can calm down and develop self-regulation skills. It's a warm, inviting spot away from the hustle and bustle of the classroom, designed for times when children feel sad, angry, frustrated, nervous, or tired. The cozy corner offers a place for kids to take a break, helping them to identify and regain control of their emotions.

The Pre-K classroom at transformed into future city planners as they designed their own city grids. This activity sparked creativity in each child, allowing them to brainstorm and discuss with their classmates the vision for their city.

Kiddie Academy of Harmony experienced a fantastic week, kicking off with dress-up as favorite fairies, followed by an exhilarating trip to Cypress Academy of Gymnastics🤸‍♂️ and the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and wrapping up with a sweet snow cone treat from Tikis with our cool shades on.

Kiddie Academy of Harmony embarked on an exhilarating culinary journey that was both engaging and appetizing, thanks to Home Slice Pizza’s warm hospitality in H-Town! We were dazzled by the wonderful production of Fancy Nancy, The Musical @ Main Street theater. 🎭

Kiddie Academy of Harmony’s latest adventure involved a day filled with water games and activities at our annual water splash day, followed by a trip to Potteryland where our students discovered their creative side and learned the art of pottery making. It was truly a week to remember!

When it comes to instilling a love for our planet in children, literacy plays an important role.

Introducing young minds to engaging books about nature, animals, and conservation sparks their curiosity about the environment and empowers them to become responsible stewards of our Earth.🌱

A recent creative event organized by .gaithersburg is an excellent example of this. It beautifully demonstrated how to nurture both a love of reading and a respect for the world around us in future generations.
