We have made some exciting new changes for 2016!

• This week we are having the latest 3D/2D imaging machine installed in our practice for our students and patients.

• We also have upgraded to one of the latest Digital Intra-Oral Sensors.

• Lastly we also have purchased the latest portable x-ray units.

What does all this mean for the ADOS Institute students? When you learn how to to do radiographs you will be learning on the most MODERN equipment available today!

“What’s New for 2016!”

At ADOS Institute we have been committed to providing our students with the most modern education available.

In our ongoing efforts to bring you the most advanced learning opportunities possible we have added 3 new items for Dental Imaging in 2016!

1.) New 3D Imaging! We are replacing our Digital Panoramic and Cephlometric machine (Instrumentarium OP200) with the newest 3D model (Instrumentarium OP300). This will allow us to deliver the most advanced 2D and 3D images available. The new model not only delivers amazing images but also does so with the lowest dose necessary even further increasing patient safety. 3D imaging is a tool that is used for dental implant placement. It also is a valuable tool for diagnosing problems that are hard to detect with only 2D imaging.

2.) New 2D Intra oral Imaging! We recently added the newest digital intra oral x-ray sensors (Schick 33). These sensors allow us to detect problems such as early dental decay, dental abscesses, decay under crowns, and many others. This new technology also helps us deliver the highest quality of 2D intra oral image with the lowest exposure providing the highest patient safety.

3.) New Portable Imaging Devices! Lastly we have added the newest portable x-ray device (Nomad Pro2). This is a portable device that allows the dental assistant the ability to safely stay in the room with the patient to take routine radiographs. This allows the clinician to take more controlled images. Being able to stay in the room is also a great benefit when treating younger patients. Students also will have the opportunity to learn on traditional wall mounted units as well.

We are very excited knowing that we have the most modern dental imaging available to help train our students in their new dental assisting career!

Life Savers 101 Health and Safety Training

We are thrilled to announce a new added benefit for our program! We have partnered with Lifesavers101.net to provide our students a Basic Life Support CPR certification which is a requirement to have as a Registered Dental Assistant. The certification is American Heart Association - CPR & First Aid approved which means it is good for two years.

Assisting School | Advanced Dentistry of Spring | Dr. Stephen Glass Originally founded in Atlanta in 1987 by a practicing dentist, ADOS Institute's Dental Assisting Program is the oldest and most experienced dental assisting program of its kind in the country.

ADOS Institute is offering 5 full scholarships to our Dental Assisting School this Summer.

Each Klein ISD High School will have at least one full scholarship to a graduating senior.

Applications are available in the councilors' office at the following high schools: Klein, Klein Oak, Klein Forest, and Klein Collins.

Applications must be submitted by April 25th.

Information about ADOS Institute Dental Assisting School:

Our Dental Assisting School trains students to become an Entry Level Dental Assistant.

At the completion of our program students will qualified to become Entry Level Dental Assistants in Texas.

Students will receive a Certificate in Dental Assisting and be trained in Dental Radiology.

Upon completion of an additional one day online course students will be eligible to apply with the State of Texas to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).

Our program is unique in that its taught in an actual modern dental office.

Students will learn the state of the art methods in dental assisting.

In addition to the modern dental office setting, on-site lecture rooms are used to teach course material using modern Power Point presentations facilitated by a very experienced instructor who has been training dentists and dental assistants for many years.

Our program is also unique in that class size is limited to only 10 students or less allowing for individualized attention.

1.) The scholarship includes the following:

-Full tuition to our 10 week Dental Assisting Program.

-The only cost to the student is $350 for cost of textbook, class materials, and uniforms.

-The normal cost for the entire program is $2995.

-The total amount of the scholarship is $2645.


2.) Judging criteria for the scholarship:

Students with the best essay meeting the qualifications.


3.) Qualifications of the student:

-Must be a graduating high school senior wishing to enroll in the Dental Assisting Program at ADOS Institute located at 7000 Louetta Rd., Spring, TX 77379

-Must be ready to enroll in the Summer session program beginning June 21st. Classes will be every Saturday for 10 weeks.

-Must submit a 250 word essay on “Why I’m interested in the dental field”

-Must submit the application and essay by April 25th to ADOS Institute 7000 Louetta Rd., Spring, TX 77379

Selections will be made by May 9th and selected students will be notified promptly.
