VorTX is a FIRST robotics team, #3735, located in Klein, Texas. Formerly known as Klein Bots FIRST Robotics Competition Team 3735, nicknamed The Klein Bots, is a robotics team from Klein, Texas on the northwest side of Houston.
Founded in 2011, The Klein Bots compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, which involves teams building a full scale, fully operational robot to complete a task and pitting it against other robots from around the world. This year we will compete at the Dallas, Hub City, and Lone Star Regional Competitions during the season and attend the Texas Robotics Invitational, Texas Robot Roundup, and Houst

Thank you everyone for making this possible! Last week, VorTX 3735 competed at the FRC State Championship in the George R. Brown Convention Center. We are so glad to be able to represent @kleinisd within our team as well as on the field to others through gracious professionalism!
We are incredibly proud of our mechanical and drive team who made all of this possible by building our robot, Mantis! Hours of their hard work paid off, and we are so thankful for getting us to state quarter finals.
We’d like to thank our business team for their amazing networking skills in creating sustainable friendships within each and every team through out Texas at State!

LEGOs, board games, and stuffed animals from people all around. Together throughout the community, we are glad to announce a total of 273 toys were collected towards Operation Santa Bots! Thank you for everyone's contribution to ensure every child has a gift this season.

The past few days have been so much fun at the Texas Robotics Invitational! Thanks to Spectrum 3847 for hosting this event and we had an exciting time being allianced with the RoboSpartans 4639, Pearadox 5414 and Disco Bots 2587! Definitely an event to remember!

Our first summer camp for 2019 is officially over and we already miss the kids! We hope that this week has inspired the campers towards STEM and learned skills such as collaboration and innovation. Special thanks to the KISD STEAM Express for adding on to the kids' camp experience. We would also like to thank Jessica Jasper and teachers Mrs. Nicholas and Mrs. Bonsall for being there and helping out. We really appreciate your help! Our second day of camp was such a blast with all these crazy socks! Our campers made cute circuit bugs and created PB & J Code for our counselors. We can't wait for Day 3 and make sure to wear your beach clothes!
