Today is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Over 75 years ago, one of the worst attacks in US military history took place in Pearl Harbor (Oahu, Hawaii). We honor and remember those that were lost on that day.

Wishing everyone a Happy and safe Labor Day! Be safe and remember to appreciate all the hardwork of first responders, teachers, and medical personnel.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and fun 4th of July. Enjoy your time with family, friends, cookouts, and fireworks. Stay safe and remember the true importance of today.

On this very special day, we want to wish all fathers regardless if you are biologically kin to the kids or not, a Happy Fathers Day. No matter how much time you invest in them, it’s never wasted time. Have a great day with family.

On June 14th, 1775, the US Army was born into existence. Today, the US Army turns 246 years old. This is an impressive milestone for the US Army and to the veterans that served. We would like to say Happy Birthday to our Army family!

As we take the time to remember our fallen military and first responders, please keep their family in your prayers.

We would like to take the time to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there. From the Grandmothers, biological mothers, step-mothers, adopted mothers, foster mothers, bonus mothers, etc. We all have had a hard time since the beginning of the pandemic. Some of us have lost loved ones and some of those women were paramount in helping motivate and propel us forward. if you have a special mother in your life, ensure you hug her that much tighter this year. Show her that you love and appreciate her and what she’s done.

Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Today begins the period for the month of May for recognizing the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Back in 1970, the birth of modern environmental movements were born. In the decades leading up to the inception of earth day, Americans used and consumed large amounts of leaded gas via automobiles and various industries and facilities expelled smoke and chemical waste.In 1962, Rachael Carson wrote a book entitled, “Silent Spring”.

By selling over 500,000 copies in 24 different countries, it created and raised public awareness of how the environment was being destroyed. April 22, 1970 was the first official earth day and has continued in tradition, to raise awareness to the impact we have on the environment and to also elicit change for all future generations. The first global earth day campaign was launched on April 22,1990. Happy Earth Day!

We would like to recognize National Medal of Honr Day! National Medal of Honor Day on March 25th recognizes all Medal of Honor recipients and their sacrifice through service.

On February 2, 2021 at approximately 6:00 am EST, FBI agents from the Miami field office were attempting to serve a federal court-ordered search warrant in the 10100 block of Reflections Blvd in Sunrise, Florida. While attempting to serve the warrant, multiple shots were exchanged and once the shots ceased, three agents were wounded and two agents were killed. Also the subject of the search warrant was also killed in the exchange. The search warrant was in connection to a violent crimes against children case. We stand with our brothers and sisters in federal law enforcement and ask everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Today Sgt. Bruce Watson, of the Harris County Sheriffs Office was involved in a traffic accident in Pearland, TX after completing a funeral detail. Sgt. Watson was a 20 year veteran of HCSO and Army veteran. Sgt. Watson is survived by his wife and three children. Please say a prayer for both his family and his brothers and sisters at HCSO. Thank you for your service Sgt. Watson, you will be missed by all.

As 2020 draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your support! This may have been a hard year for everyone but 2021 will be better. Stay safe and remember to social distance wherever you go.

Happy Hanukkah to all of our brothers and sisters celebrating this important holiday around the world.
To mark this holiday, Jewish families light one candle each evening on a nine-branched menorah. The ninth candle – the shamash, which means “helper or attendant” is used to light the other eight.

Once the menorahs are lit, they are displayed prominently, often in windows. This year has been challenging for everyone but it’s also help us all take notice of what’s truly important to us as well. When lighting your menorah, remember to cherish those close to you and never forget the loved ones we lost.

Diwali is the Indian festival of lights, usually lasting five days and celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Diwali falls in either October or November each year, depending on the cycle of the moon. It's observed on the 15th day of Kartik, the holiest month in the Hindu lunar calendar. Happy Diwali!

RDT INVESTMENTS GROUP would like to wish a Happy Birthday to the US Marine Corps! Congratulations on 245 years of selfless service and sacrifice. Semper Fi!

I would like to take the time to acknowledge the bravery of both Houston Police Department members, Officer Courtney Waller and Sgt. Harold Preston. Sgt Preston responded to call for service concerning an individual who was a mental health consumer. During the incident, the individual shot Sgt.Preston and while Ofc.Waller responded to the aid of Sgt.Preston, he too was wounded will responding to Sgt.Preston’s aid.

Sgt. Preston, a law enforcement veteran of 41 years made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the Houston community and succumbed to his injuries. Ofc.Waller was assisted by a civilian nearby, who assisted him and ensured he was brought to responding officers. Let’s take a moment and keep Sgt. Harold Prestons family in our prayers and also pray for the speedy recovery of Ofc.Waller.

Today is a special day for your protector, provider, friend, confidant, and all around coach that supports and influences your many decisions. Fathers are not always biological but their love is always genuine.l and eternal. To all the “fathers” out there, we would like to say Thank You and Happy Fathers Day.

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Remember that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation - which had become official January 1, 1863. I believe the only way to know where your going, is to know where you’ve been. I’d like to wish Happy Juneteenth to everyone.

This morning a tragic event took place that resulted in the line of duty death of Deputy Constable Caleb Rule, Fort Bend Constable PCT 4. His death greatly impacts the Fort Bend County law enforcement community and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and co-workers during this difficult time.

During this Memorial Day holiday, I urge everyone to remember that this day is to honor those who have served and answered the call. Also this day is to cherish the memories of the loved ones, friends, and family that have made the ultimate sacrifice and paid the price for our continued freedom.

Happy Armed Forces Day! I wanted to take the time to say thank you to all the members of the armed forces, past and present, who have given selflessly and who continue to serve their community. Here at RDT Investments, we are a pro-military company and love our veterans. May God bless all of our brothers and sisters in arms.

We just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all the mothers that do so much for their kids and families. Your selfless dedication, day after day, inspires us all. I want everyone to take a moment and appreciate your mother or a mother-like figure. Be grateful for their guidance, wisdom, and love. Happy Mother’s Day ladies!

Happy Ramadan Facebook family!

Ramadan is a Muslim ritual, observed by everyone following the Islamic religion worldwide, following the Islamic Lunar calendar. It is also known as the Fasting Month. The Arabic meaning of Ramadan is Scorching heat. Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islamic principles. During this time of year, the people who believe in the Muslim religion, fast through the month. It is believed that this is an attempt to purify ones soul. When the crescent moon appears in the night sky, the holy month ends and it is thereafter followed by the three days festival of Eid al-Fitr on May 23rd.
