THANK YOU KIDS AND PARENTS FOR YOUR KIND DONATION!! HSLM is very proud to count with kind children who think about others who need help, in this case, pets in need. You cannot imagine how many little lives you are making a difference, we as a rescuers who are in the daily field to HELP ONE AT THE TIME give us a hope that we can count with generosity like yours to be able to feed these cats and dogs who badly need it. Thank you again and for think of us!...the food will be distribute between some cat and dog rescuers in the next days. Blessings to you all!..and ADOPT, FOSTER, DONATE..we all can make a change in our city of Houston.

I'm with Burchett Elementary PTO and we had a donation drive today for our families, as well as our surrounding school families who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. We would love to help in anyway we can! We have plenty of water, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, clothes, and shoes. Please let us know of any needs for your Gators families! 😊

Children under the age of 18 who live in the Spring area will have access to free meals through Spring ISD’s Summer Feeding Program. The program will offer meals on Mondays and Wednesdays. Children must be in the vehicle with adults. For more info, visit

In case you missed it, SISD has rolled out Empowered Learning At Home for parents and students. Go check it out! Spring ISD is offering at-home learning opportunities to address public health concerns related to COVID-19. Our primary goal is ensuring students are safe, healthy and able to access resources and tools to support their academic journey. We appreciate you for supporting your child's academic growth...

Friendly reminder that tomorrow is early dismissal. Dismissal will begin for Anderson students at 12:10pm.

Please be advised that there will be an early release day for students tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 19 and no classes for students on Friday, Dec. 20 through Monday, Jan. 6 for Winter Holiday. Spring ISD offices will be closed beginning on Friday, Dec. 20 and reopen on Jan. 6.

Below are the early dismissal times:

High Schools: 7:10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Elementary Group 1: (Anderson, Beneke, Booker, Lewis, Smith, Thompson) 7:35 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Elementary Group 2: (Bammel, Burchett, Clark Primary, Clark Intermediate, Eickenroht, Hoyland, Major, Marshall, McNabb, Meyer, Northgate Crossing, Ponderosa, Salyers, Winship) 7:55 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Elementary Group 3: (Cooper, Heritage, Hirsch, Jenkins, Link, Reynolds) 8:10 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Morning Prekindergarten, including PPCD, will start at their regular time and dismiss at the same time as their elementary groups listed above.

*NO Afternoon Prekindergarten will be held.

Middle Schools: (Bailey, Bammel, Claughton, Dueitt, Roberson, Springwoods Village, Twin Creeks, Wells) 8:55 a.m – 1:30 p.m.
*Spring Leadership Academy 7:10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Bus transportation will follow the early dismissal schedule. Please contact your child’s campus for more information.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, and offices will reopen on Monday, Jan. 6. The Spring ISD Police Department will be on duty during the Winter Holiday. If you see suspicious or unusual activity anywhere in the district, please call Spring ISD Police at 281-891-6911. In an emergency, call 281-891-7473.

It’s easy to do online using the “snapcode” that was recently mailed and emailed out to you. HOUSTON - May 21, 2019 - Spring ISD is hosting a series of parent meetings at each of its six comprehensive middle schools as part of a plan to transform and strengthen each campus to better meet the unique needs of 6th-, 7th- and 8th-graders.

[06/03/19]   If you have a school-aged student in need of breakfast and lunch this summer, simply text “FOOD” to 877877 (or "comida" for a reply in Spanish) and receive a message back with a location closest to where they can get free summer meals.

It is a nationwide program called NOKIDHUNGRY so please repost for all of the children who are struggling to get enough food. Feel free to copy and paste; even if you aren't in need, SOMEONE'S kids are. No child deserves to go hungry, ever.

They will text you back the places that provide breakfast and lunches.

And if y'all are blessed enough, don't just stop at sharing this post, donate, so we can keep kiddos fed year 'round.
