How to turn ramen into a healthy meal!

Ramen Shrimp Stir-Fry

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Serves: Makes 2 servings


1 package ramen

8 large shrimp, pre-cooked

2 cups stir-fry veggies, thawed if bought frozen

Soy sauce, to taste

1 Tbsp. sesame oil, plus more to taste


Throw away the flavor packet and boil your ramen noodles.

Oil a medium pan and turn burner to medium-high heat.

Add shrimp & veggies and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

Drain noodles and toss them in with shrimp and stir-fry veggies.

Add soy sauce and sesame oil to taste

Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

✅ 1 lb. ground turkey
✅ 1 tbsp. olive oil
✅ 1 diced onion
✅ 1 chopped yellow pepper
✅ 1 chopped red pepper
✅ 1 cup frozen corn
✅ 1 tbsp cumin
✅ 1 - 16 oz jar sliced jalapenos (drained)
✅ 2 - 15 oz cans tomato sauce
✅ 2 - 15 oz cans diced tomatoes
✅ 2 - 15 oz cans black beans (rinsed & drained)
✅ 2 - 15 oz cans red kidney beans (rinsed & drained)
✅ 2 tbsp chili powder
✅ Salt & pepper (optional)
✅ Toppings (optional): shredded cheese, green onions, sour cream

Cooking Directions:
➡ Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Brown turkey and add to crock-pot
➡ Add cumin, corn, chili powder, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, onions, peppers and jalapenos. Season with salt and pepper and stir.
➡ Cover crock-pot and cook 4-6 hours

But if we don't feel good or have low energy it makes everything harder.

It's about to become a new year - a great time for changing things up a bit.



You can't really put off making a decision - it's sort of impossible because NOT making a decision is also a type of decision.

It's a decision to stay put, right where you are, and not change anything.

Your future is an opportunity that you must build in the present, the earlier you begin, the earlier you may live the life you want.

Your current state is not a consequence of what you are currently doing but a result of decisions you made in the past.

What you did cannot be changed, but you CAN make the decision not to stay where you are, to build something better, to reach for the life you dream of.

Make that decision and have faith today. Tomorrow you path will become clear.


We are convinced that life will be better in the future, or that is what we intend to believe, mainly when things are not the way we want.

The recurrent phrase “Carpe Diem” which means “Seize the Day” is a way to get you focused on the present which is important because it is the only real thing.

The past is not longer here, it is not real, is a thought, a memory. We cannot interfere in what has already happened.

In the same way, we can't touch the future either. It is yet to be.

Today is the day, now is the time to take some action toward your goals.

One of the many secrets to successful goal-setting is to make sure our goals match our values. When our goals don't match our values, we lose interest and motivation quickly. And then we lose another year of our life.
