Hello, everyone! I am a recent Northeastern University graduate conducting a study regarding pregnant and postpartum individuals and their reactions to social media posts. If you fit the description, please complete this survey!

It should take approximately 30 minutes and you will have the opportunity to enter into a gift card raffle.
Please share this post with pregnant or postpartum moms you know to help me distribute the survey and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Our fabulous team member, Betsy, talked to DC Birth Doulas about postpartum support during this pandemic. Check it out! :)
Big shout out to everyone involved in making the second annual Miles 4 Midwives DC a huge success! We raised over $32,000 and gathered together over 250 people to raise awareness about the maternal mortality crisis in DC, the care the midwives and doulas provide, and to fundraise for Mamatoto Village, Inc.!
Thank you to each and every one of our runners!

Hello everyone - I am coming to SLC to do a Lamaze Educator Seminar in September 2019, so I wanted to re-introduce myself! I trained as a doula nearly 20 years ago in Utah with Kristi Ridd-Young. I've been working as a doula and Lamaze childbirth educator in Boston, Minneapolis, & D.C. as well as overseas in Jordan, India, Oman and Kuwait ever since then. I started a non-profit called BirthKuwait and then a business called DC Birth Doulas - we are group birth doula practice that supports around 50 families each month and teaches four childbirth classes a month. With our Community Birth Educators Lamaze program we focus on training educators from traditionally underserved populations, and offer scholarships where needed. I really hope to see some of you there!
