Many of us enjoyed the first Classical Education Simplified Conference in Pineville held last summer. It was like a reunion- learning and visiting with friends! It was very well done-- from speakers to vendors to fellowship. This year, some of our favorites, Andrew Pudewa and Christopher Perrin, will be back to inspire, educate and entertain us. We are very excited that Matt Bianco is going to be one of the speakers! Matt used to work at Classical Conversations Corporate and played a large part in academically growing our programs. While with us, he directed Challenge programs, trained other Challenge directors, and homeschooled his children using the local CC program. Matt’s love for the classical model led him to the Circe Institute where he is the Director for The Lost Tools of Writing program. He is challenging, yet fun. We had previously attempted to get Matt in Louisiana to be a speaker for one of our Practicums. Being in big demand, he was not able to come, but now we have the wonderful opportunity to hear from him at the Classical Conference. Additionally, our very own Allison Horton will be one of the presenters! Some of you had the opportunity to hear from her at the Alexandria and Baton Rouge Practicums. There is a discount on registration right now using the discount code SAVE20 for $20 off your conference ticket. Please make it a priority to attend, and to support this high-quality offering in our own area by encouraging your friends to join you! http://classicaleducationsimplified.org/registration/
