Centenary College Fitness Center (not the Gold Dome)
Friday, March 25, 4 PM - 9 PM
Saturday, March 26 9 AM - 4 PM
As per Centenary College policy: Masks are required for all unvaccinated guests.
In addition to the Book Bazaar the Centenary Muses also host a study series twice a year. This October we will look at the classic dystopian novel Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Our featured speaker is Professor Jefferson Hendricks of Centenary College. The series is four weeks long. click on the link below for more information and to register.
At this time the Muses ask that no more donation be brought to the Book House. Even during the worst of the pandemic our patrons were dropping off donations and the volunteers were pricing them. We now have 2 years worth of books stored and are running out of places to put them. So we ask that you hold off on donating any more books until we finish the next Book Bazaar.
We are sad that due to ongoing public health concerns and the continued uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centenary Muses have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Book Bazaar. We are hopeful that the Bazaar can be rescheduled for spring 2022.
UPDATED BAZAAR INFORMATION:
Due to the increased spread of COVID in the state and in keeping with the new mask mandate issued by Governor Edwards, Centenary College has decided that attendance at the Book Bazaar will require face coverings. Masks will not be provided on site, so please bring your mask so that we can keep our book-loving community safe and healthy during the Bazaar!
Several people have asked about masks. The masking policies are dependent on campus, state, and local policies. As of now the policy will be to allow vaccinated individuals to come without a mask and ask those who are unvaccinated to please wear a mask. These policies may change between now and then due to issues beyond our control. Because of the large crowd size at the Bazaar it is recommended that all of our patrons wear masks while inside the Gold Dome. Please check back for more updates over the next month.
CANCELLED: Here is the poster for this year’s Book Bazaar.
