A shooting in Shreveport claims the life of 17 year old.
Weβve received information that Devin Myers, who just celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday, was gunned down and killed in front of his home on Thursday afternoon. Shot 5 times in the back.
My heart breaks for the family and for his friends, classmates, and basketball teammates at Huntington High School. Devin was a standout basketball player and good kid.

Knights,
In recent days, 4 individuals at Woodlawn have tested positive for COVID-19. Following the CDCβs guidelines, administration conducted contact tracing and determined 145 people who would need to be quarantined. Those individuals who were in close contact and required to quarantine, were notified and are at home quarantining. Any individual who was not contacted was found to not be in close contact with a positive case. Our custodial team also went through the entire campus to clean and disinfect. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Woodlawn remains committed to following all COVID-19 guidelines.
